General Policy
All returns to RockfordDriveLine.com require a Returned Goods Authorization number (RGA#) issued via e-mail from the returns page, or directly by customer service personnel. All products must be in new condition, and returned in the original packaging.

Any products purchased from RockfordDriveLine.com may be returned within thirty (30) days of documented receipt for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. If desired by the customer, products may be exchanged for credit, equal to the original purchase cost, towards a subsequent purchase of other products from RockfordDriveLine.com. In either case, the buyer is responsible for all freight costs.

Shipping Errors
In the event that RockfordDriveLine.com is responsible for shipping errors, incorrect items will be exchanged for the correct items. The customer will be directed to repackage the item, clearly labeled with the RGA#, and addressed to the location provided with the RGA#. RockfordDriveLine.com will issue a "call tag" to have a shipper collect the package for the return shipment. The correct parts will be shipped by ground to the customer, with freight pre-paid by the company.

Product Defects
RockfordDriveLine.com warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the purchase date. If the customer receives a defective, mislabeled, or otherwise inappropriate part for the published application, an RGA# should be obtained promptly to facilitate the return process.

To process a warrantee claim, the customer needs to provide a statement detailing the following points:
1.) The type of vehicle on which the warranted part was installed,
2.) the mileage of the vehicle containing the warranted part,
3.) the date on which the unit ultimately failed, and
4.) the name and address of the actual installer of the warranted part.

The return process will be similar to that addressing shipping errors. Upon receipt of the warranted part and the statement described above, RockfordDriveLine.com will examine that part to determine the cause of failure. If the failure was caused by a product defect, it will be replaced promptly and shipped to the customer by ground with freight pre-paid by the company.

RockfordDriveLine.com is not responsible for parts which are installed incorrectly, or in an application unintended by company literature or personnel. The installer is assumed to have a competence with the removal and installation processes, and to be knowledgeable about the application.
